I've used the Epson T0870 Gloss Optimiser Ink Cartridge Flamingo Twin Pack for about five years in my printer (Epson Stylus Photo R1900)- since new in fact.
I've yet to discover what a 'Gloss Optimiser' does though!
Installation is simple: I just open the pack and click them in.
