I've used the Ink Epson T0878 Matt Black Ink Cartridge Flamingo for about five years in my printer (Epson Stylus Photo R1900) - since new in fact.
Installation is simple: I just open the pack and click them in.
Usage is quite heavy - about 3 -1 with any other cartridge; except Cyan, where the ratio of usage is about the same.
