Ruby on Rails Software Engineer:
We are looking for a very talented individual to work with us on an exciting high-profile project to develop and improve our e-commerce platform.
This is a full-time position based in our Shropshire offices.
Skills & Requirements
- Minimum two years of Ruby on Rails experience
- Knowledge of HTML/JavaScript/CSS/MySQL
- A strong grounding in test-driven object oriented development
- Ability to produce well-tested, readable, commented, and maintainable code
- Knowledge of Git, understanding of development, build, deploy cycles
- Well-developed problem solving skills, including troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Great communication skills and fluent English – you will be an integral part of our team
Desirable Skills
- Understanding of agile development mindset & tools – SCRUM/BDD/etc
- DevOps / Sysadmin skills, ideally with Puppet knowledge
- Design and UX skills
