This Samsung MLT-R116 Imaging Drum Unit is quoted as doing up to 9000 pages before needing to be replaced.
The page yield is calculated by manufacturers using ISO/IEC 24711 standards, where they print set documents of 5% page coverage until the cartridge is empty. The standard means you can compare yields between cartridges and manufacturers.

The SV134A is the same product as the MLT-R116, just with a new code, and will work in the same printers!

Customer reviews for the Samsung MLT-R116 Imaging Drum UnitI have just changed the drum for the first time (very easy and straightforward) having been printing books in eight-sheet sections, double-sided, the equivalent of 32 fully-printed A5 pages per section. Interestingly, while the cartridges return THE predicted 3000 such pages +, the drum considerably exceeds the predicted 9000 page life span - mine signalled for replacement at 15022 such pages. Excellent value.
As usual very fast and efficient delivery. I checked prices with other suppliers and could not find any with a cheaper price. We are a charity and keen prices are always important to us.
