The page yield is calculated by manufacturers using ISO/IEC 24711 standards, where they print set documents of 5% page coverage until the cartridge is empty. The standard means you can compare yields between cartridges and manufacturers.

The remanufactured 826A black toner can produce more prints than the original HP toner, providing up to 31,500 crisp, clear black and white prints before it will need to be replaced. It has the same quick easy installation process as the original HP toner so it's just like using the original but at much cheaper cost.
Like most HP toners the drum is attached to the toner, the drum is the part which prints the toner into the shape of your design. So not only do you have one less part to replace, you get a new drum with each toner so your printer is maintained more often and your prints will always be of the best quality possible.
The remanufactured 826A black toner is packaged in its own box so if you're not ready to use it straight away it can be stored for up to 6 months without its quality being affected.
