The DR-311 colour drum unit is the part in the printer which moves the toner powder from the cartridge and prints it on to your page, so it's a really important part. You won't need to change the drum as often as the toners as it can produce up to 75,000 pages but you will need to change it when your printer let you know its running out so you keep everything running well.
The DR-311 colour drum is safely packaged in its own box so it can be stored for up to 12-months, if your not ready to use it straight away, without its performance being affected.
