HP purchased Samsung's toner business in November 2017, taking the handy step of giving new codes to selected products.
The SV031A is the same product as the MLT-D304E, just with a new code, and will work in the same printers!
This is an original Samsung MLT-D304E black toner cartridge. Original means this toner has been made from scratch by Samsung.
The 304E toner can produce up to 40,000 pages of sharp black and white prints before it will need to be replaced so it's ideal for anyone who does a lot of printing. The printer also has a drum unit; this is the part which prints the toner into its shape. The drum will need to be replaced when the printer tells you to, to keep everything in good working order and to keep your prints at the best quality.
