The page yield is calculated by manufacturers using ISO/IEC 24711 standards, where they print set documents of 5% page coverage until the cartridge is empty. The standard means you can compare yields between cartridges and manufacturers.
Product description
The 407249 toner can be replaced in no time at all. Simply open the front cover and then lift the toner slightly up to enable it to slide out of the printer towards you. Then remove any packaging from your new toner cartridge before sliding it into the printer. The all you need to do is shut the lid and let the printer load. That's it all done. The 407249 cartridge has its own drum roller attached to it; this is the clever part which prints the toner into your design. This means you'll never need to replace the drum unit on its own which will cut your printing costs down and your printer will be maintained more often.
