This value is calculated from manufacturer's estimates of how many pages a cartridge will print, and should only be used to compare cartridge running costs.

Thanks for leaving us a wonderful 5 star review, have a fab day! :)Answered by Zara Webb (staff member) - November 14, 2023 09:47
Since becoming a member I have always been satisfied with the products purchased until recently. A new recharged cartridge HP56 was faulty but no problem you kindly replaced it and also sent me a spare via next day delivery. One of the cartridges was fitted but it again became faulty after a few pages (just not printing out) so I fitted the spare which to date is ok but I need a back up. Think its a refilling issue which you may wish to look into or just a bad batch of cartridges. If not for recent issues would have rated 5. Many thanks.
Thank you for your review Alun. It was myself you spoke to about the issue and I am glad that your printer is now working. We haven't had any other issues with this cartridge, so hopefully just a faulty couple of cartridges. I will send you another one out to replace the second one which was faulty after a couple of days. Please do come back to us on 01746 781 020 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you need any more help - Thanks KirstyAnswered by Kirsty Barlow (staff member) - April 13, 2021 16:01
Unfortunately this black generic cartridge does not work in my HP printer although the colour generic cartridge does. Stinkyink were very quick to refund the money though so I am still a satisfied customer.
I don't get through much ink at home, but when I need it Stinkyink is my default choice.
Works brilliantly. Never had a problem. Repeat customer

Use our 'Check this ink fits your printer' box at the top of this page to confirm this cartridge is suitable for your printer model. In most cases the model number is written on the front of your printer.
Note: These cartridges will only work in printers purchased in the UK and Europe. Printers purchased outside of these zones will have different coding and electronics.
We don't advise on the number of millilitres, as not every cartridge prints using the same droplet size, so two cartridges for two different printers may both have 5ml of ink, but one will print more than the other. Instead, more accurately, the industry standard is based on printing 5% of an A4 page.
This is known as page yield. The number of pages you'll be able to print depends on the cartridge you purchase and the kind of printing you do. The page yields shown higher up the page are based on printing 5% of the area on an A4 page.

No, you aren't able to use other cartridges alongside your HP Instant ink ones. Cartridges in the Instant Ink program have different coding, so whilst enrolled, you are locked into their service and must use their cartridges. Read our blog to learn more about HP Instant Ink.
These are refilled HP cartridges which means they have been used once previously before being reconditioned and refilled with ink, making them a more environmentally friendly option that still provides the print quality you need.
As these are reconditioned HP cartridges, there is a small chance that ink levels will show the last level status. This does not affect the functioning of the cartridge, but should you have any queries, do not hesitate to contact us, or look at our Ink Reader Level Guide, should you need help.
Yes, these cartridges are just as easy to install as the originals. Make sure the required clips have been taken off, along with the clear (usually blue) tape that covers the metal panel on the underneath of the cartridge, and then slot the cartridge into your printer. Do NOT remove the brown tape that is connected to the contact chip.
