Simply open the front cover of the printer and lift the toner cartridge out using the handle you'll see on the top of it. Then take any packaging off the new toner and slide it in using the handle as before. Then shut the lid and you're all done. Every 504 compatible toner has its own drum unit attached just like the original Samsung toners do; this is the bit which prints the toner into its shape. So not only have you got one less part to worry about replacing but your printer is being maintained more often and your prints are kept at their best quality. You can use any mix of compatible and original toners in your printer at any time, they all work together as normal, no problems at all.
