This is a multipack of compatible Canon PGI-525 and CLI-526 ink cartridges. Compatible inks are brand new cartridges which have been made by a third party company rather than the manufacturer of your printer. With the large black containing 19.4ml, and each colour containing 9ml of ink, this pack provides unbeatable value for money.
The pack contains 5 cartridges for your printer, consisting of the 2 individual blacks, and one each of the cyan, magenta and yellow cartridges. These cartridges are all pre-chipped and will just drop into your printer and work. To change them over you simply need to open the printers' lid and wait for the cartridges to stop in the middle, then remove the cartridges by squeezing the clip on the side of the cartridge and lifting it out. The new cartridges just fit into the slot and need a push down to click into place. You can use these compatible cartridges along with any other original or compatible Canon 525/526 ink cartridges just as normal, with no problems at all.
(Please note, this pack does not contain a Grey if your printer requires one.)

Will the same cartridges used in the Canon IP4850 work in the Canon IP7250? If not, can these unopened pack be returned?
No, the Canon IP4850 and the Canon IP7250 use a different range of ink cartridges. The cartridges compatible with teh IP7250 can be found on this link - https://www.stinkyinkshop.co.uk/canon/ink-cartridges/canon-pixma-ip7250
Should you have any unopened packs of cartridges from previous orders. Please follow the returns process through the website, or email email@example.com and we can advise you furtherAnswered by Victoria Miller (staff member) - November 27, 2017 09:19
Ref the compatible Canon Pgi-525 and Cli-526 Ink Cartridges - do these work "out of the packet" in a Pixma MX895 without any need for special set-up routines to make the printer accept 3rd party cartridges (which some 3rd party cartridges do require!)?
No, these cartridges once installed do not require any further action :)Answered by Steph Hughes (staff member) - October 24, 2017 08:38
I have bought cheap cartridges for many years but the last couple of suppliers products bought over the last 12 months fade in sunlight ridiculously fast. Do your inks fade like this or are they of superior quality. Thank you.
Good afternoon Peter,
we have a help center on our website which will try and help with a few different queries please see the link below for details:
It does state "Professional Photos: Compatibles archival life is not as high as a genuine cartridge. They can fade within a few years, especially in harsh lighting, so we’d advise sticking to originals."
"Everyday photos: Original cartridges with original photo paper will always give you the best results, they’re designed to work in tandem. However compatibles are brilliant for photo printing and telling the difference is nigh on impossible for the majority of printouts."
I hope this helps.
If there is anything else I can help with please let me know.

Are your Canon MG6150 cartridges chipped and will the printer recognise quantity of ink remaining
Yes they are and they show ink levels also. We will alway have a chip on the compatible inks if the original has.Answered by Roy Hamilton (staff member) - March 01, 2017 14:49
I have previously used your inks - ( with great results}.
What is the capacities for a Pixma 4950?
The compatibles and originals have the same capacities as one another - each colour, and the smaller black have 9ml of ink in them, while the larger black has 19ml.
Unfortunately Canon don't provide approximate page yields, so I couldn't say how much printing this will allow you to do.Answered by Huw (staff member) - September 13, 2012 08:50
I have left a revue of the Canon IP 4850 cartridges I bought last year. My question is, how long is the expiry date? I use around two sets per annum and am not sure whether to buy two or four sets to take back to South Africa with me. Also, what is the best way to store them?
Most inks will last 6-18 months if stored sensibly, however Canon unfortunately don't give a precise expiry date with their products so I couldn't give a better answer than that.
We would advise storing them somewhere cool and dark, in their original packaging before installing them. Conditions that are too hot, too cold, or too dry, can cause them to expire prematurely.Answered by Huw (staff member) - July 11, 2012 15:05
Can the inks in this pack be installed with genuine Canon inks, and also indicate low ink levels?
You can mix and match compatibles and originals, so you should only need to change your ink as and when one runs out. The compatibles in question give ink levels, in the same way as the originals.Answered by Huw (staff member) - January 16, 2012 12:50
