Lift the lid on top of the printer to begin and wait for the cartridge carriage to stop. Squeeze the clip on the side of cartridge which you want to change and then lift it up and towards you to remove it from the printer. Now you'll need to get the new cartridge ready, making sure you remove the orange tape from the top of the cartridge and you remove the orange clip from the bottom by twisting it off. You can then insert the cartridge into the printer by sliding it away from you and pressing it down into the printer until it clicks in. Then you can shut the printer lid and as soon as the printer has loaded you can print again. The original 934 black ink cartridge can be used along with any original or compatible/refilled HP 935 ink cartridge which is great as it means you can mix and match the inks which best suit your printing requirements.
