The page yield is calculated by manufacturers using ISO/IEC 24711 standards, where they print set documents of 5% page coverage until the cartridge is empty. The standard means you can compare yields between cartridges and manufacturers.

The 201X yellow toner can be used along with any original or remanufactured, 201A or 201X toner cartridge with no problems at all.
The 201X yellow toner can produce up to 2,300 pages of bright and vibrant yellow shades before it will need to be replaced. This makes it ideal for anyone who prints on often or/and in batches.
The cartridge has its very own drum attached to it, this is part that prints the toner powder into your design. In other printers the drum is a separate part you replace less often but with the 201X yellow toner you'll get a new drum each time you replace the toner. This means your printer is being maintained as often as possible and your prints are being kept at the best quality.
