The page yield is calculated by manufacturers using ISO/IEC 24711 standards, where they print set documents of 5% page coverage until the cartridge is empty. The standard means you can compare yields between cartridges and manufacturers.

Although the cartridge does not look like the one it replaces, it does fit and it does appear to be working well. Stinkyink did advise that this was the correct replacement and the price is a massive saving over a genuine replacement. Very happy with the service.
My second order of this compatible toner cartridge, but this time with higher capacity. So far so good. Print quality seems indistinguishable from an original OKI. Arrived promptly as promised, although the delivery man did try to leave it by the door without ringing the door bell or getting a signature. Fortunately my wife spotted him! Easy to fit. Too soon to judge the value of the higher capacity but I am ever hopeful! I'd recommend to anyone.
