So, I emailed asking for a refund. I then received a phone call from a very nice helpful lady who priceeded to guide me through a menu to get the printer to accept the cartridge. After a couple of false starts we were successful and the cartridge was accepted. Couldn't be more pleased as it was about half the price of an original. Recommended without hesitation.
