There's 80ml's of Epson specially designed photo and image ink inside the T8502 cyan cartridge, which is call UltraChrome HD ink. The ink has a low level of Metamerism which means you can display it in most lights with hardly any visual difference.

The ink is also designed to work perfectly with a long list of papers and media's so there plenty to choose from and no restrictions.

The inks produce twice the density that other inks can allowing them to produce a wider range of shades and deeper blacks.

The inks itself is a pigment based ink which sits on top of the page rather than sinking in like a dye ink. This allows it be printed finely and create sharp, crisp lines.

The T8502 cyan cartridge is packaged in its own box so if you're not ready to use it straight away, you can store it for up to 6 months without its performance being compromised.
