This Epson 33 Magenta Ink Cartridge is quoted as doing up to 300 pages before needing to be replaced.
The page yield is calculated by manufacturers using ISO/IEC 24711 standards, where they print set documents of 5% page coverage until the cartridge is empty. The standard means you can compare yields between cartridges and manufacturers.

The ink in the cartridge is Epson's Claria formula ink, which uses a clever combination of dye and pigment ink. This allows you to print sharp text as well as lab quality photo's with the help of the photo black ink cartridge.
The 33 cartridges are easy to replace and it takes no time at all. Open the lid of the printer to begin and wait for the inks to settle. Then remove the cartridge by squeezing the clip on the front and then lifting it out. The new cartridge can then be put in its place and pushed down until it clicks in.
The cartridge is sealed into its own bag and then into its own box, so if you're not ready to use it straight away you can store it for up to 6 months without its quality or performance being affected.
