I have used Epson inks for many years now but the Cost
has emptied my pockets. So time for a New supplier, and
'Stinkyink.com' have come up with the best compatibles
for my XP-960 photo expression printer, they are just
brilliant for service, Brilliant for colour and afordable
to all pockets. Just the Job, again Briliant, Brilliant.
Do you like to waste or save money is a question that answers itself, and buying Stinky Ink compatible inks, instead of the more expensive Printer Manufacturers brand, will give you just as good results for a far cheaper price. Of course the printer manufacturers will say that using any other make of ink will give poor results, but don't believe them, as I've been using compatible inks for a number of years and never found any problems with the cartridges that Stinky Ink sold compatible inks have given me.
As I was running low on cartridges, and not wanting to drive some 21 miles to a Tesco that 'sometimes' has the ones I need in stock, I went on the Stinky Ink site and ordered a couple of sets of compatible inks, as the ones I have already used from Epson ran out, and ever since used the cheaper but equally as good quality inks. Whilst the cartridges are identical to the original Epson ones the printer senses that they are not original Epson brand, and to get the newly inserted one to be accepted you have to scroll down the instructions and tell the printer to accept them.
Of course Epson doesn't like people using other brands of ink, and will keep trying to get you to order their own brand. My suggestion is to ignore the request to order Epson inks, as over a number of years you will have helped Epson make a very nice profit for that company, when you could have bought far more ink, or perhaps treated yourself to something you really liked.
Great product at a price that shows how much profit the printer companies make, and a brilliant service from Stinky Ink.
Excellent compatible inks
Great value and very fast delivery

I have always used original ink in my Epson Xp 960, will these be recognised by the printer?
Yes, this pack would be compatible with the XP-960Answered by Steph Hughes (staff member) - August 01, 2018 16:02
Is this ink pigment based? I want to be sure. Thanks
The compatible ink is produced to be the same as the original, as the original Epson 24 is Claria, this will be dye based not pigment.Answered by Steph Hughes (staff member) - August 31, 2017 15:43
Are they compatible with WF-7620?
I can confirm that these are not the correct cartridges for the Epson WF-7620. The cartridges required can be found on this link - https://www.stinkyinkshop.co.uk/products/multipack-of-compatible-epson-27xl-ink-cartridges-vt2716Answered by Victoria Miller (staff member) - July 25, 2017 11:43
Do I need to take the pull tab off and leave an open hole?
Yes, the yellow pull tab needs to come off fully. If tape covers the vent then you will likely get poor prints from the printer.Answered by Roy Hamilton (staff member) - March 15, 2017 16:28
I have quite a few cartridges for my epsom RX 620 printer, which I am about to replace with an epsom XP 760, are these compatible ?
Cartridges for the RX620 won't work in the XP760, they take a completely different cartridge. The RX620 is an old model now.Answered by Roy Hamilton (staff member) - August 30, 2016 09:57
Just bought these for my new EPSOn xp-960. Printer tells me it can't recognise the cartridges. I've tried taking them out and replacing several times but can't get rid of this message.
I am very sorry to hear that you are having an issue with your cartridges. Do you still have the old cartridges for your printer? If so if you could pop them back into your printer and this should clear the error. Then with the new black cartridge, if you could rub the contact chip with a pencil rubber or a clean cloth, this will remove any static or dust that may be on the chip. Replace the black cartridge, let the printer set up in the usual way.
Is it still giving you an error? If so turn the printer off at the main switch (not just the switch on the printer) and leave for a few minutes.
If the error message still appears when you have turned it back on pop the old cartridge back in, if it is gone then leave the cartridge in as this has resolved the issue.
Please repeat this process for the coloured cartridge.
If any of the cartridges are faulty this will help us to find which one, sometimes one cartridge can make both of them give an error code. If you are still having issues please don't hesitate to get back to me.Answered by Emma O' Malley (staff member) - March 07, 2016 08:03
i have an Epson xp950, printing A3 takes untold ink. i have tried installing a CISS system but it wouldn't work, moved on to refillable cartridges but keep getting not recognised. will your cartridges work i have exhausted the ink that came with printer and it would break my heart to pay Epson Prices. judging by the reviews i may have come to the right place.
All our cartridges come chipped and ready to install, just as the Epson original cartridges would. Epson's along with Canon and Brother are our best selling compatibles with very little issues with them, however if you did have any trouble at all, all our products are covered with our 12 month guarantee so we can either replace or refund you. If you do have any other questions please just let us know.Answered by Emma O' Malley (staff member) - January 07, 2016 08:16
My grandson has got a new printer for Christmas. Can these inks be used straight away in a new Epson Expression Photo XP-760 printer or do you have to use the supplied Epson cartridges first?
Congratulations on your new printer :)
We'd advise using the starter cartridges that come with the printer first. They're designed to start the printer from scratch (and won't last long at all). Use them until they're empty and then you'll be good to go.Answered by Matt Bird (staff member) - December 29, 2015 14:17
I have just received delivery of an Epson Expression XP-750 (still boxed) my previous printer being the Epson R200 (also 6 cartridges).
Looking to the future and not having used your service before, what would be the cost of a 7-pack (6 + 1 extra black) and do you sell the ink pad counter disc.
The best option would be to buy a multipack and then a single black cartridge, these can be found at the following link http://www.stinkyinkshop.co.uk/epson/ink-cartridges/epson-xp-750 All details and prices for the cartridges are displayed. Unfortunately we do not sell ink pad counter disks.Answered by Emma O' Malley (staff member) - August 20, 2014 11:12
I have a Epson XP 750 printer and in the past I was told compatible ink doesn't clean the heads and you must at least alternate with the epson cartridges so that the heads get cleaned properly. I would be grateful if you can tell me if this is still the case or do these compatible ink cartridges clean the heads as well as the epson cartridges? Thank you.
We do recommend that with every 3-4 packs of compatibles that you would then use an original Epson set because they do have the cleaning fluid in with their inks.Answered by Emma O' Malley (staff member) - August 19, 2014 16:19
I have had bad experiences in the past with compatibles when it comes to printing high quality photographs. I now have a Epson XP-850 and tempted to give your compatibles a go. Can you confirm that the results will be equal to that produced using Epson originals when it comes to printing photos on glossy Epson Premium Glossy paper?
We expect every compatible Epson ink to be as good as an Epson original, so we do guarantee it will be of the same quality and if it's not we can either replace them or give you your money back.
If you have any other questions just let me know.Answered by Beth (staff member) - March 20, 2014 14:17
