Customer reviews for the Compatible Multipack of Canon PGi-550 and CLi-551 XL Ink Cartridges
I have never had a cartridge fail, great product, good value for money, the website is easy to use, and I love the name!
these cartridges are excellent will buy again
Normally no problem but had to replace my magenta and cyan with new cartridges. The cyan had no problem with but the magenta my printer doesn't recognize so a message keeps coming up? Its most annoying to have to take out & put back in & I have to hope that the message of no recognition does not appear again. Never had this problem before
Good morning Helen,
I'm sorry for the trouble with the cartridge.
I will email over some advice for you which should stop the error.
Sorry for the trouble caused.
Kind Regards,
Tara Ward

Reliable and speedy service. I use the compatible cartridges with my Canon and Lexmark printers and have no hesitation in recommending them.
Great customer service as well.
I use Canon MX925.Installation is as simple as it gets, one click
and you’re good to go.Ink quality is fine, certainly no complaints
from me.I’ve never had any problems so would definitely recommend this multipack for price, quality of the ink and overall
reliability.
These compatibles are every bit as good as the Logo manufactured cartridges, never a problem over the years I have used them. The mailing is fast and well packed.

Yes, this pack would be ok for your MG5650. The large black cartridge contains 22ml of ink and the colours 11ml of ink :)
Answered by Steph Hughes (staff member) - July 03, 2018 08:18I have just purchased a Canon TS5050 can you advise which ink pack I need and cost, many thanks James
For the Canon TS5050, you would need the Canon PGi-570 & CLi-571 Ink Cartridges :) We have the Multipack of Compatible High Capacity Canon PGi-570 & CLi-571 Ink Cartridges (STCLI-571PK) at £20.99
Answered by Steph Hughes (staff member) - January 23, 2018 08:28Will I get accurate ink levels and low ink warnings shown on my canon pixma ip7250 printer if I use these cartridges.
Good afternoon Richard, Yes your printer should be able to let you know the ink levels with these cartridges :)
Answered by Tara Ward (staff member) - January 10, 2018 13:46Hello, is this cartridge compatible with the MG5751 canon printer?
Thank you.
Joanna
No, these inks won't work in your printer, but these will: https://www.stinkyinkshop.co.uk/canon/ink-cartridges/canon-pixma-mg5751
Answered by Roy Hamilton (staff member) - July 13, 2017 15:03will these be okay for a canon MG6650?
Yes these are the correct inks for the MG6650 :)
Answered by Matt Bird (staff member) - August 10, 2017 12:49I would like to switch to stinkyinks in the interests of economy but am still using Canon inks in my MG6450. I'm part way through a set of tanks, can I mix the inks as the Canon tanks run out without losing colour accuracy or any other compatibility problems?
This should not cause an issue if you use Canon originals and compatibles. However, we offer 12 month money back guarantee should you have any issues, please let us know
Answered by Victoria Miller (staff member) - January 04, 2017 16:55Are your compaable cartidges date stamped? How long are they guaranteed for? Thanks.
No these cartridges are not date stamped. We guarantee everything for 12 months.
Answered by Roy Hamilton (staff member) - December 28, 2016 09:20I have a Canon MG5650 printer for which I have been using compatible inks (not yours yet!) but, in researching whether to replace it with a different make, I noticed that, for Epson cartridges it was suggested by on of your staff that, as Epson ink contains cleaning fluid, genuine Epson ink was used every three or four times in order to help clean the printhead. Is this the same with Canon ink and printers?
I've been guided to your site by a favourable Which review (backed up by your own customer reviews which encourages me to switch to you.
Thanks in advance for your consideration.
Canon inks don't have a cleaning agent in their ink formula. It's extremely rare that a Canon printhead will block up. I believe Epson printers have smaller nozzles on the printheads which would explain why they would tend to be more prone to blocking. In saying that, it is still rare that it happens, unless the printer is sitting for a longtime without use.
Answered by Roy Hamilton (staff member) - September 02, 2016 14:09Hi I purchased non-Canon ink (not purchased from yourselves) for our printer and the colours faded in the sunlight (the genuine Canon ink I previously used did not), do you know if your ink fades?
Thank you
Compatible ink will fade in sunlight over time. Original inks will do also but over a very, very long period of time. We would always say to buy original inks if you are printing photos that will be on display.
Answered by Roy Hamilton (staff member) - September 01, 2016 16:14I want to use my printer only occasionally for "archive" quality prints, at other times I only want to do everyday printing and photos. Is it possible to switch cartridges to genuine Canon for these occasions and how should they be stored between uses?
We wouldn't recommend switching back and forth between inks because even if you re-seal the inks, they may dry out before you need to use them again.
Answered by Roy Hamilton (staff member) - December 17, 2015 09:24How do these cartridges perform when printing photos on photo papers using Canon iP7250 as against Canon's own cartridges?
I have been using another (competitor*) compatible and there is a tendency to be over green in performance. I use printing software on my Mac called 'IMAGEBUDDY' and 'PORTRAITS & PRINTS'.
Advice would be welcomed.
*edited to remove suppliers name. RoyH
Hi Ray,
We haven't had any reports of our cartridges doing the same in all honesty.
We do guarantee our inks so if you did try them and they didn't print how you expected then we can take them back and process a refund for you.
