You can change the compatible 312A yellow toner cartridge easily, all you need to do is open the front cover of the printer and pull the toner tray towards you. Then simply lift out the toner you need to replace by using the handle that can be found on the top of it. The new cartridge can now be inserted into the empty slot. Now just push the draw just back into the printer and close cover. You're all ready to go again! You'll see each on the 312A toner has their own drum; this is the part the shapes the toner before it's printed onto the page. So one, this means you'll never need to replace a drum unit and two, your printer is being maintained more regularly by having attached drums attached so all you're prints will be top quality all the time.
