The page yield is calculated by manufacturers using ISO/IEC 24711 standards, where they print set documents of 5% page coverage until the cartridge is empty. The standard means you can compare yields between cartridges and manufacturers.

This compatible 312A magenta toner can be changed in a flash by following these steps.. Open the front cover of your printer and pull out the toner draw. You'll now see all four toners, remove the toner you need to replace by lifting it out of the tray using the handle you'll see on the top. Then place the new toner into the correct slot using the handle on to. And that's it your done. Just close the draw and lid and the printer will return to ready. The compatible 312A magenta toner has its own drum attached to it; this is the part in the printer that prints the toner powder into its shape. This means you'll never need to replace a drum unit on its own, this is great as it cuts down your printing costs as well as maintaining your printer regularly. You can mix and match the compatible 312A magenta toner with any compatible or original toners you like, the toners will all work together with no problems at all!
