This is a compatible twinpack of HP 301 ink cartridges. Compatible means these cartridges have been made from scratch by a third party company rather than HP to offer cheaper printing alternatives.
Containing one each of our compatible HP 301 inks, this is a great way of saving yet more money on your printing. This pack replaces the HP original High Capacity HP 301 multipack, and saves you a huge amount of money on your running costs.
The empty 301 cartridges can be changed for new cartridges quickly and easily. Open the cover above the paper tray and wait for the cartridges to stop still. You can then remove the cartridges by tilting the nearest edge downward until it clicks out of place and then pulling it towards you. The new cartridge will then fit into the slot, push it backwards into the holder until it clicks upwards. Then close the printer lid to complete the installation.
Each of the cartridges are individually packaged so if you're not ready to use them both you can store the other for up to 6 months without its quality or performance being affected.
To provide you with confidence when ordering we make sure all the products we stock have been tested and are of a high enough standard to exceed our 12 guarantee. So with free, fast delivery and our comprehensive 12 month performance guarantee, you won't find better printing value for your HP machine.
|Capacity||29ml of ink|
|Page Yield||810 pages|
2.47p per page
This value is calculated from manufacturer's estimates of how many pages a cartridge will print, and should only be used to compare cartridge running costs.

Customer reviews for the Refilled High Capacity Twinpack of HP 301XL Inks
Bought 2 replacements. Put the 1st one in my printer and my printer refused to accept them. Just put the 2nd in and the print is unreadable. Very poor.
I'm sorry you've had trouble with these inks.
Can you tell me the exact error the first cartridge gave you? I can then help you troubleshoot and hopefully solve the problem.
With the second cartridge, you should have a function in the settings menu, under maintenance, called Printhead or Cartridge Clean Cycle. make sure there's plain A4 paper installed and run the printer through this cycle. You should run one cycle and then another straight after, then do a test print. If the print hasn't improved go through the process again. You can run the cycle up to three times in total.
If this doesn't resolve the errors just let us know and we'll replace them.Answered by Bethan Owen (staff member) - May 17, 2019 13:22
Cannot get printer to accept black cartridge. have change back to old one which is accepted ok but of course is empty.
I'm sorry to hear that there is a cartridge issue.
One of our team will be in touch to get some more details and resolve the issue.
Sorry for the trouble caused.
Never had trouble with the inks before some time the work and sometime the printer doesn’t recognise them
have not yet installed but previous excellent, why I renewed.
Product quality and delivery timescale always very good and as promised. Recommended in lieu of original (and more expensive) HP cartridges. OK, the ink level monitoring is not working, although occasionally it does (do not ask me why) but I never rely on the monitor, only the printing quality; even with only one cartridge printing is acceptable.
Will certainly use Stinkyink again and recommend them to others. Following the usual protest about 'non-HP' cartridges, it gave in eventually and all seems fine now.

Just bought these for a printer in a holiday cottage which will get very infrequent use. Do you suggest printing a test page every couple of weeks just to keep them fresh? Any other suggestions?
Yes, you can also regularly run the printer's cleaning maintenance options to help prevent any blockages forming :)Answered by Steph Hughes (staff member) - January 11, 2018 08:44
Are these cartridges compatible with the HP Envy 4502 printer as that one isn't on your list?

Will these cartridges work in HP Deskjet 1050 Printer?
Yes these are the compatible cartridges for this printer model. We do also stock the genuine and all inks available for this model can be found here - https://www.stinkyinkshop.co.uk/hp/ink-cartridges/hp-deskjet-1050Answered by Victoria Miller (staff member) - November 28, 2017 15:45
I have a HP Deskjet 2540 and need a black and a coloured ink cartridge. Will these 2 cartridges work. I've noticed the fact that it says XL on them, will they still fit into my printer slots
Yes these are the correct compatible cartridges for your printer model. The XL does not mean these are larger in physical size, only the amount of ink within them. So this would mean more pages per cartridgeAnswered by Victoria Miller (staff member) - September 25, 2017 15:52
Will these cartridges work in an HP Envy 4507 all in one printer?
Yes, these cartridges are compatibles with the HP Envy 4507Answered by Victoria Miller (staff member) - September 19, 2017 08:38
I am tempted by your offer of twin-pack HP301 High Capacity but as I use my printer quite infrequently, will the cartridges last in storage longer than your stated time of 6 months?
As your order would come with a 12-month guarantee you can store the cartridge :) We would recommend for this to be stored in a cool dry place and to be used within the 12 month period so should any issues arise you're covered with your guarantee.Answered by Steph Hughes (staff member) - August 24, 2017 15:15
Will re-furbished cartridges definitely work as sometimes the HP software recognizes non-HP units and refuses to accept them?
We always make sure that our products are tested and have been equipped with the latest software updates to avoid any errors.
However, updates can occur, which is why we offer a 12 month money back guarantee, so should these errors occur, we can sort this for you.Answered by Victoria Miller (staff member) - August 24, 2017 13:07
Hi, are the HP 301XL cartridges compatible with the HP Envy 5530 printer?
These are the cartridges I use. But this model is not specified on your list of compatible printers. Just want to make sure before I buy. Thank you.
I can confirm that this Multipack of inks HP301XL is compatible with the HP Envy 5530 Printer.Answered by Victoria Miller (staff member) - May 26, 2017 16:25
You quote capacity as 29 ml - is this for each cartridge, or the two combined?
This is of the two cartridges combined. The Black is 15ml and the colour 14ml giving the total of 29mlAnswered by Victoria Miller (staff member) - March 31, 2017 09:19
I have just installed StinkyInk HP301XL cartridges, for the first time, in my Envy 5534. The display now refuses to show the cartridge capacities. How can I ascertain the ink levels to avoid running dry and damaging the printhead?
With refills the ink levels may not show, this is because the ink level can't be reset on the electronics. I would say, if the prints become faded then that would suggest the cartridge is low. HP don't want people using refills which is why that part of the electronics can't be reset.Answered by Roy Hamilton (staff member) - November 14, 2016 09:42
Are these cartridges compatible and without problems installing them? - I have had such problems with my Epsom not allowing the use of compatible cartridges that I have now bought an HP printer even though my Epsom printer is in good shape - but I don't need the hassle when I need to change cartridges. thanks
Yep! These compatible HP 301's should just drop into your printer and work, you get far fewer problems with HP than you do with Epson compatibles who (as you know) don't make life easy.Answered by Matt Bird (staff member) - September 26, 2016 13:07

Does the ink in these remanufactured cartridges produce as good a quality photo finish as the original cartridges? I am just a little worried it may run, bleed or clog.
These inks should produce the same standard of quality as the original HO inks. However if you are unhappy for any reason please contact us as they are covered by or 12 month quality guarantee.Answered by Emma O' Malley (staff member) - March 14, 2016 08:12
Do your HP301 High Capacity compatible cartridges come with an ink monitor facility?
