Customer reviews for the Compatible High Capacity Multipack of HP 203X Toner CartridgesAt first these worked fine in my M281fdw printer - no problems with them being recognised as in a previous review. However when they got down to 60% the yellow and magenta cartridges started printing patchily - large pale vertical bands. The yellow also leaked, yellow spots on the paper. Stinkyink responded promptly to my query and suggested tipping the cartridges - which didn't help. A refund was made immediately - customer service was faultless. I would definitely buy from them again, though am reluctant to buy this item.
My M281fdw printer wouldn't recognise these compatibles or the replacements, so they sent me a set of 203A originals. That was fine to get me up and running as I had a deadline to meet, however I didn't really get what I had ordered - high capacity compatible cartridges. I can't fault customer service for their help and hard work in trying to sort this out for me. No news yet on when the updated chipped cartridges will be available. I feel a bit let down to be honest.
I'm sorry you still feel let down.
We've not had an issue like this with these toners before, especially with the replacement set also having a fault. Our supplier is working hard to get some new, updated contact chips as soon as they can. I've also got a note to remind myself to give you a call as soon as we have the new stock.
The originals we sent you were the standard capacities, but this was the quickest way we could get you up and printing again. Please appreciate there is a large cost difference between the two.
