Compatible cartridges are direct replacements for the genuine Brother.
They're brand new cartridges, fully chipped that just work out of the box. They provide the same high quality prints, at a fraction of the cost.
Please note: A compatible cartridge will not affect your printer warranty
Orders go by Royal Mail post, normally taking 1-2 days and guaranteed to arrive within 5 working days.
Select "Next Day" at the checkout for a guaranteed next-working-day service (morning delivery also available).
(Some orders may be sent by courier depending on availability.)
This value is calculated from manufacturer's estimates of how many pages a cartridge will print, and should only be used to compare cartridge running costs.

having always owned inkjet printers and looking to purchase a mono laser printer as a newbie im a little confused.
Been looking at toner/running cost for Brother HL 1212W mono printer before I commit to a laser printer.
Im not sure what im looking at when I see the price/description in your product listing it says drum.. not toner(and product code) so.. is that including the toner? or do I buy the drum and toner separate. When i give you the printer model details your product listings pop up saying words like "drum" not "toner" do I have to buy toner separately or is the price I see for a "ready to use" set in other words all I need to get the printer going again? Trying to decide weather to go for mono inkjet or mono laser.
Thanks in advance for your help and sorry for the confusion
In laser printers, there is a drum and a toner cartridge. In some printers, this is one unit but in Brother printers, these are separate parts and both are required in order for the printer to function. The toner, is the cartridge that the toner powder is held. The drum in what basically puts the powder onto the page to give you a print.
