Yes, these cartridges are chipped and ready to use. While refilling cartridges can be cheap. I wouldn’t recommend it with Epson cartridges. You will require a chip re-setter and they don’t always work which is why we don’t stock them.

i use epson sx125 compatibles but after a time the printer says not recognized or empty when the cartridge is more than half full??
The first thing to try is to carefully remove the cartridge and to gently rub its contact with a pencil eraser. This serves to get rid of any static, dirt, or grime that might be causing the problem.
If that doesn't work, fully unplug the printer from both computer and the mains, and after a few minutes charge it up again, as this will reset the memory in most models of printers.
In the unlikely event of neither of these things working, then it's probably time to talk to your supplier of that item, as it sounds like some sort of fault with the cartridge.
