Product Description

The Lexmark 40 Photo print cartridge contains evercolor™2 ink; its unique pigment based formulation combines exceptional resilience with improved archivability.

Please note this cartridge installs in the BLACK SLOT for your printer and does NOT go in the colour slot of your printer. You will need a colour cartridge as well as this photo cartridge to print.

This is a dedicated photo cartridge, and the Lexmark 40 is designed to work in tandem with your colour cartridge to provide the highest image quality and colour gamut available. Due to this it installs in the BLACK slot of your printer, in addition to a colour cartridge in the colour slot.

Ask a question about this product
Q:

Can this ink be used for printing documents as well as photos? What if my colour cartridge is empty?

A:

This cartridge goes into the black slot. If you did print documents, they might not come out quite right with Black text.

Printers will generally not let you print unless both cartridges have ink in them, that is to prevent air getting into the system and damaging it.
