It seems like a lot of money to spend on just four ink cartridges - but these are ink cartridges like no other - they LAST. The black cartridge lasts nearly 10,000 pages and each of the colour cartridges last over 2,000 pages. So printers that use these cartridges are about the cheapest way of producing printed paperwork. And they're blindingly fast as well. Fast, low cost printing usually comes at the cost of print quality, but these printers deliver crisp vibrant prints to rival other office printers.
Fitting these cartridges is very clean and easy, and you won't have to do it very often!

These cartridges are a breath of fresh air - enormous capacity, so you're not forever changing them. Although they're expensive to buy the running costs are very very low, much lower than other printers we've used. Wonderful.
The printers they work in are blindlingly fast, and well-engineered. The cartridges fit easily and cleanly in place and we have so far had no trouble of any kind with the printers or the cartridges. We're using three HP Officejet Pro X476dw printers. They're office workhorses, not intended for photo quality printing, but decent crisp text and graphics reliably at high speed. They do their job without fuss and better than any other printer we've come across.

How much ink is in a HP Original cartridge?
We don't advise on the number of millilitres, as not every cartridge prints using the same droplet size, so two cartridges for two different printers may both have 5ml of ink, but one will print more than the other. Instead, more accurately, the industry standard is based on printing 5% of an A4 page.
How many pages will this HP Original cartridge print?
This is known as page yield. The number of pages you'll be able to print depends on the cartridge you purchase and the kind of printing you do. The page yields shown higher up the page are based on printing 5% of the area on an A4 page.

Will this cartridge work alongside HP Instant Ink cartridges?
No, you aren't able to use other cartridges alongside your HP Instant ink ones. Cartridges in the Instant Ink program have different coding, so whilst enrolled, you are locked into their service and must use their cartridges. Read our blog to learn more about HP Instant Ink.
Will an XL cartridge still fit in my printer?
If you choose a high-capacity (XL) version of this cartridge it will still fit in your printer. The size of the cartridge is the same, but they are just filled up more to provide you with extra prints, often at a substantially lower cost per page printed.
