Stinkyink Pushes Environmental Schemes Forward Jul 12, 2010 13:00 by Matt Bird
Since trading began in 2002 we have always provided as much information as possible for our customers, readily advising where to best recycle ink and toner cartridges and how to minimise waste when printing. We coupled this with in-house efforts to minimise our own impact on the environment.
But customers wanted more from us.
And we always respond to our customers.
Recycling Scheme for You!
Readily available for ALL customers now is a returns label for all your empty cartridges. Simply visit our Recycling Page and download your Free post labels, making it easy to do your part for the environment.
A link to this resource will now be included in all of our order confirmation and despatch emails, meaning our customers will only ever be 1 step away from effortless Free Recycling.
Stinkyink’s Personal Efforts
In extension to employee car sharing and efforts to reduce the electricity used in the offices and warehouse, we have now registered for the Green Achiever scheme. Covering all aspects of our companies operations it will help us take great strides in limiting our waste.
And where will this hit home first? Steps are underway to limit the printing in our accounts department, much to the dismay of the Head of Finance! It should lead to a humorous series of blog posts as the restrictions are slowly implemented and the unstoppable printing force meets the immovable environmental ‘object’.
With potential improvements lined up in our energy efficiency and reducing office waste, we are hopeful the entry into this scheme will be of great benefit to the environment, our customers, and ourselves.
