Is my card information secure?

Here at Stinkyink, all credit card details are passed through a system called Opayo (by Elavon), making your money more secure than if you were to use your card on the high street. We don’t store any of your credit card details to ensure your privacy and security.

When will my order be shipped?

All orders placed before 4pm are shipped the same day, Monday to Friday. Orders placed after 4pm or at the weekend are shipped as soon as possible the next working day morning (so weekend orders are shipped Monday morning).

We ship orders by Royal Mail, with most orders arriving the next working day, and all arriving within five working days. If an item isn’t in stock we may, on occasion, arrange for your order to be shipped direct from our suppliers with the same delivery guarantees. In this case you’ll receive an email on the day of delivery including a courier tracking code.

For a small fee you can pay to upgrade to a next day service, ensuring it appears with you on the next working day (on orders before 4pm).

Cartridges

What does Original or OEM stand for?

OEM stands for ‘Original Equipment Manufacturer,’ which means that they are made for a specific line of machines by the same producer as the machine itself. So a genuine HP ink means that ink was made by HP for a HP printer.

What is a compatible cartridge?

A compatible cartridge is a brand new cartridge made by a third party company. So a compatible HP ink is a cartridge made by someone other than HP, as a direct replacement for a genuine HP version. We quality test extensively and only sell the best compatibles available, giving you the best cartridges for your money.

What is a remanufactured or refilled cartridge?

‘Remanufactured’ and ‘Refilled’ are simply different names for the same thing. These are recycled cartridges that have been collected by a third party cleaned, refilled, and rigorously tested to ensure they meet the same high standards as they did when they were first produced.

A ‘compatible’ cartridge is one that is made entirely afresh, and has not been recycled, produced by a third party for a certain printer.

Can using compatible/remanufactured cartridges affect my warranty?

Not for 1 year. A manufacturer is legally required to give a 1-year guarantee on electrical products that cannot have anti-competitive terms in, so your 1-year warranty is completely safe.

If your printer is over a year old and in an optional extended warranty it can be affected, so we guarantee your printer performance. In the very unlikely event our product causes an issue with your printer we will replace it.

How many pages will my cartridges print?

This changes by printer and item, so you'll see clear expected page yields for everything on our website.
