Terminally is available to download directly from the WordPress.org themes directory

Hi,
First, thanks so much for this wonderful theme!
)
I just have a question. Since the theme doesn’t allow to use the built-in menus (the categories) in the header, I was wondering if you can point me to a nice one. I just need a single level horizontal menu with my categories (maximum ten
Cheers!
Check out our soon to be released theme “crucial“!
Sorry if I was unclear, I didn’t want a new theme but some black magic code to insert in the header to have the categories
Cheers!
Super cool theme – great job! I dig it. I hope to mess with it soon though its great by default. The only thing I could say that would make it even more rockin’ is if it adjusted to screen sizes on mobile devices…
I’d love to make the themes responsive, but it’s a lot of work and I don’t really have the time at present. You could install a plugin that loads a different theme for the mobile version of the site, there are quite a few on the market. Some are quite customisable too!
Would be really cool if you could make a simplistic WordPress Theme that had the look and feel of the BBS’s of yore… =) Been looking for something like this for a long time… Jajaja
I’d be tempted by it, but I’ve never used an old-school BBS so I have no idea what they look like!
i am getting error on ie 8 as follows….

same thing when i viewed my friend blog at ascii.textfiles.com
thanks…
That’s a JS error, most likely from a plugin you’re using on the site, not from the theme itself.
This is a wonderful theme, with great layout.
But, I need one more thing, Pagination at bottom on index-page rather then ‘older entries’.
I think there are plugins that can do that. Have a search, I’m sure you’ll find something.
Hello, there!
Just wanted to say I love this theme so much! Thanks for creating it, the idea was awesome.
So, i modded it a little bit so it could look like the default Ubuntu terminal… here’s the result: http://alexdantas.net/projects/
Hope you like it
I seem to be seeing a real issue with people on IE8 or below (99% of my traffic ) it doesn’t work correctly..
Here is a couple of screen shots so you can get an idea of what the issue is… Hopefully its an easy fix (crosses fingers)
On my OSX machine with Opera its fine :

Am i right in saying the new version will fix this when wordpress get around to it ???
For now I am using a temp theme just to keep going., shame as terminally looks the mutts to me
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Looks like the HTML5 shiv wasn’t working properly (it’s basically a bit of code that allows old versions of web browsers such as IE8 to support new HTML5 tags).
I’ve submitted a patch to the themes directory with an update that will fix the problem and make things appear much better in older browsers (normally, I wouldn’t care as these browsers are out of date, but it messed things up pretty bad, and I use this theme for my own personal blog too!).
Hi,
first of all, thanks for this perfect (for me) theme. Just, i am not familiar with CSS, so, where can I customize block color ? (something clearer).
Thanks
Hi,
When you say ‘block color’ do you mean the post backgrounds? All the style information is held in the file style.css – you’re probably looking for the rgba colours which allow the background to show through – just up the opacity if you want them to be clearer.
Love this theme. Not an OSX fan but a terminal is a terminal
. One question, I am unable to find a changelog for releases. I know an update was pushed and would love to know what was updated. Thanks for the great theme.
Hi Dodge,
The theme includes a readme.txt file which contains the changelog (that’s the way WordPress.org prefer it). It’s not a technical changelog however, more of a ‘whats new’ feature list type thing
Glad you like the theme as I originally built it for my personal website but decided to spread the nerd love and share it with the world.
*facepalm* I knew that, forgot to even check. Sorry for bothering you. Thanks for reminding me and the great theme.
I would like a copy of the terminally theme.
Hi Peter. The theme was approved last week by the WordPress admins and will soon be available for download! Subscribe to our RSS feed and I’ll be sure to post an update as soon as it’s released!
why was this theme installed on my wordpress blog? I did not do it… very scay.. dont know how it got there, have you a clue?
I’m not sure D… did you install WP yourself from scratch or use a version setup by your hosting provider? I can say for certain there is nothing we have done that would force it to appear on your site. Very peculiar!
