Canon Inks are great quality I only have one negative. It is the amount of packaging? a lot of which I cannot recycle currently. why not go back to cardboard boxes. Or have I missed something about the outer case. Also it is so big considering the tiny ink cart. At least the multipack saves money, and I like that I can change a single colour

Hi Shirley, thanks for the review! This pack is actually one we have put together independently, as Canon hasn't got an official one yet.
Due to this we have to package the cartridges individually (each black and the pack of three colours), which leads to the excess packaging.
The actual cartridge packaging itself is Canon switching to the new blister packs. We're not sure why they've switched from cardboard, but for a company as large as them we'd assume the environmental impact is negligible.
