Being a satisfied user of your products, I wonder if there is a technical (or legal) reason for not refilling photo cartridges?

Some photo cartridges (such as the 364 Photo black) can actually be bought as refilled versions, however with the majority, such as the HP58, I believe that the refillers have two main, linked, problems.
The first is that they are far less popular than the normal black and colour cartridges, so there isn't the demand for them. Because of this there aren't so many in circulation, and so getting enough to make refilling lucrative is difficult.
I'm not aware of there being any home refill kits available for them either, I'm afraid.

One side is slightly more white than the other. This is the only difference between the sides.
