Visographic opts for Ricoh Pro C901 Graphic Arts Edition December 05, 2011 09:00 by Mike Derges
US graphic communications company Visographic has taken delivery of a digital printer from Ricoh that uses the firm's new toner cartridges.
The Ricoh Pro C901 Graphic Arts Edition, which delivers near-offset results with Ricoh's new PxP chemical toners and oil-free fusing technology, is the firm's fourth digital press.
Visographic president Robert V Dahlke notes that the company has been providing printing, design and mail services for more than 60 years.
"Coupled with our new digital and web-based offerings, we strive to deliver content where and how our clients want it. The C901 adds to our inventory of solutions," he explains.
Brian Balow, vice-president of production sales at Ricoh US, said the Pro C901 Graphic Arts Edition sets "a new standard in colour digital print quality and productivity".
The device combines consistent 1200 dpi output with 90 pages-per-minute speed, regardless of media type or weight. It will even deliver this level of performance in duplex mode.
