HP printer ink and toner cartridges will help people create a special, personalised Christmas this year, the firm says as it launches a range of products that it believes are perfect for the festive season.

"Original HP printing supplies for the home and office help to ensure holiday memories are captured in high-quality prints," the company states.

The festive range of devices includes the HP Officejet Pro e-All-in-One 8600 Series, which the manufacturer says delivers professional-quality colour documents at up to 50 per cent lower cost per page than laser printers.

It boasts two-sided borderless printing, as well as new printer inks that resist fading, water and highlighter-pen smears. Individual, high-capacity ink cartridges also deliver savings.

HP also says its faux canvas will make a great gift, allowing people to make their pictures from their photos.

Canon printer ink could also be put to good use this Christmas with the new Pixma inkjet printers, part of a number of products released in time for the festive period by the firm.
