Konica Minolta praised for multifunction printers November 17, 2011 10:00 by John Sollars

Konica Minolta has been named as a leading manufacturer of multifunction printers (MFPs) by analyst firm Gartner.

Joining a number of other firms that make printer ink and toner cartridges, the company was placed in the leaders quadrant of the Magic Quadrant for MFPs and printers.

"Recognition as a global leader in the highly competitive MFP and printer marketplace is what we have been working toward," says Ken Osuga, president of Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe.

Earlier this year, Buyers Laboratory Inc named Konica Minolta its 2011 Line of the Year award winner for the company's series of bizhub colour and monochrome MFPs.

Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK), market development manager Jonathan Wilson , commented: "As a company we have focused on customer needs with the aim of providing holistic document workflow solutions."

Lexmark and Xerox were also both named by Gartner in the Leaders quadrant of its 2011 MFP and Printer Magic Quadrant.
