Kodak wins big at CES awards November 15, 2011 10:00 by John Sollars

A device that uses Kodak printer ink has been recognised by the Consumer Electronics Association for its innovative design.

The Kodak Hero 9.1 All-in-One Printer won an Innovations 2012 Design and Engineering Award by the CEA, which is behind the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

"Innovation is at the heart of Kodak's product development, and we appreciate this recognition of our teams' efforts to deliver the best possible imaging and printing solutions to customers," said Pradeep Jotwani, chief marketing officer and senior vice-president at the Eastman Kodak Company.

The new Hero 9.1 All-in-One Printer features Google Cloud Print and Kodal Email Print Service.

It is the latest innovation in the company's consumer inkjet portfolio. Kodak says it combines easy connectivity with high quality output and affordable printer ink.

Kodak also picked up CES awards for two new video cameras, taking the total won by the firm to 27.

The products will go on display at the CES event in January 2012.
