A new innovative printer ink device from Samsung could benefit small business and home office users, it has been claimed.

The company's latest device to join its mono-laser range, the ML-2955DW, can provide consumers with an efficient and versatile printing solution.

According to Samsung, the machine has been designed to be environmentally friendly as well as being highly commercial.

The ML-2955DW comes with a One Touch ECO button that can deliver users double side printing, multiple pages onto a single sheet and can skip blank documents to reduce paper wastage.

On top of this, Samsung stated that its ECO mode can cut paper usage by up to three-quarters and reduce CO2 emissions by up to 73 per cent.

Dion Smith, general manager in Samsung's Print Division, added: "Samsung recognises that many single and small business users require high functionality and performance but are facing increasing pressure to reduce operating costs."

Furthermore, the printer ink firm has noted that the ML-2955DW has been designed specifically to fit into any small office environment with its streamlined chassis.

On top of this, it is one of Samsung's quietest devices as it omits less than 50 decibels while processing documents.

Mr Smith noted: "The ML-2955DW printer delivers high levels of performance and functionality, while its low printing noise and reduced power consumption levels means they can easily be incorporated into any working environment."

Earlier this year, Samsung launched its ML-4510ND and ML-5015ND printer series for its business to business product range.

According to the firm, the devices are designed for small and medium-sized businesses and provide high-quality and trouble free mono laser printing solutions.

Samsung added that both products can print over 40 pages per minute in super-fast time and can be ready to produce documents from sleep mode within less than 20 seconds.
