Own-X unveil its Widestar 2000 printer ink product at Labelexpo September 30, 2011 09:35 by Roy Hamilton
Own-X has unveiled its new high-speed, wide-format printer ink device at this year's Labelexpo event.
The company's Widestar 2000 has been designed for various businesses to deliver them a range of document production capabilities that are 'fast and affordable'.
According to the company, the device is capable of single-pass and full-colour printing, which is ideal for professional documents, signage, newspapers, packaging and more.
On top of this, the device uses Memjet's Waterfall printheads, which provide users with resolutions of 1,600x800dpi.
Jules Fawkes, chairman of Own-X, said: "Memjet technologies and components are changing the way people print and how they use commercial print - by bringing affordable, fast colour where it was never before thought possible."
Recently, EFI launched its Jetrion 4900 UV inkjet digital label press at Labelexpo.
The company stated that the device can boost business profitability, reduce set-up times, produce accurate medium-run jobs and provide companies with a consistent, cost-effective machine.
