It can happen in many guises. You may have a print job stuck as pending in your print queue.... You may have a print request stuck as "deleting" for hours...Either way, merely trying to print and your printer ignoring you is incredibly annoying.
Trying to print, your printing ignoring you and the print job sitting mockingly in your Print queue is akin to a slap in the face.
How To Remove Stuck Print Requests
Don't let the following tips on removing pending/deleted print requests scare you if you're not technically minded. It may look complicated to the untrained eye but it is remarkably simple!
Also please note this method will remove ALL of your current print jobs, as there is no way to tell one print job from another, so be careful if you have something queued you can't print another copy of.
Step One of Clearing A Stuck Item In Your Print Queue
Head to your start bar and search in your bar for services.msc - you'll have one result, select it :)
(Please note older versions of windows Go to Start -> Run -> Services.msc )

Step Two
Scroll down to the Print Spooler Service, right click on it and click Restart.
And that's all there is to it! There is a small chance you'll need to Stop and Start your spooler instead of restarting it, but this will get the vast majority of errors cleared.
