Dell Printers link up with Westcoast to distribute products September 22, 2011 16:58 by Andy Warburton

Dell Printers has set up a deal allowing Westcoast to sell its devices and ink products to business consumers across the UK.

The printer ink firm noted that this is only the second 'supplies-only' link up it has with a distributor.

Dave McNally, head of imaging sales at Dell, told channelweb.co.uk: "We believe we are making significant strides in offering complete coverage to resellers across the UK. Westcoast demonstrated all the right credentials and plans that will enable us to grow our business."

The partnership kicked off this month and will mean that Westcoast will be able to distribute Dell ink cartridge and toner cartridge supplies and more.

Recently, Dell announced as part of its 2011 Corporate Responsibility report that it has surpassed its goal to reduce its packaging volumes by ten per cent.

On top of this, the company recycled 150 million pounds worth of end-of-life computer and printer equipment, a 16 per cent increase over the previous year's total.
