Canon and Oce launch two new printer ink products September 14, 2011 11:55 by Matt Bird

Canon and Oce have jointly produced two printer ink systems for the new imageRUNNER C9000 PRO series.

The firms have created a monochrome device designed with an innovative engine to provide users with high-performance finishing and scanning capabilities.

On top of this, the two companies have developed a high-speed multifunction colour system incorporating Oce's PRISMAsync controller technology to ensure consumers get the best printer ink productions.

According to Canon and Oce, the latest devices will be made available in Europe during September and will be expanded to other regions in the future.

Canon recently expanded its award-winning imageFORMULA lineup by adding the new DR-M160 scanner to its range of products.

Jim Rosetta, vice president and general manager in the imaginng system group at Canon, said: "The DR-M160 scanner sets a new standard for imageFORMULA document scanners in price/performance, delivering capture capabilities that make it an ideal office addition, especially in the legal, financial, healthcare, and government sectors."
