Epson launches integrated ink tank system printers in India July 29, 2011 16:21 by Huw Carrington

Epson has released what it believes to be the world's first integrated ink tank system printers in India.

The Epson L100 Inkjet printer and the L200 All-in-One printer are expected to be successful in the region as they help to keep printing costs down to a minimum.

Each device comes with one black 70ml ink cartridge that can print up to 4,000 monochrome pages and three 70ml colour printer ink cartridges that can create 6,500 colour pages.

The manufacturer claims that this will provide consumers with an extremely low printing cost per page when compared to previous models.

Ram Prasad, deputy general manager of consumer products at Epson India, commented: "Epson is always innovating to provide affordable, yet high performance printing solutions to help our customers lower their cost of printing, and the Epson L100 and L200 are the latest results of our efforts."
