Xerox DocuColor 8080 Digital Press 'helps expand businesses' July 15, 2011 12:12 by Chris Rails

Small businesses that choose to invest in the Xerox DocuColor 8080 Digital Press will be able to address a wide range of printing tasks using the new device, the company has claimed.

Among the applications for the machine is to create booklets, calendars and direct mail, which could give companies the opportunity to expand their operations.

Its three main features are productivity apps, low gloss dry ink and the Automated Colour Quality Suite, which all have their own merits for businesses to take advantage of.

Productivity apps, for example, are able to simplify the most common print jobs using ready-to-use templates, which could help firms boost their efficiency.

Furthermore, the low gloss dry ink cartridges offer a smooth matte-like finish that accents colour images to provide truly professional marketing material.

"Our focus is to help customers produce more jobs, reduce costs and grow their business. The DocuColor 8080 was built with this in mind," said Eric Armour, president of the graphic communications business group at the Xerox Corporation.
