Vulnerability Management Services (VMS) are to be offered to customers worldwide, thanks to a new partnership between Dell SecureWorks and QualysGuard.

Dell will be responsible for the integration, management and re-selling of its partner's security and compliance services, which will help customers eliminate overhead costs.

This will be achieved by configuring the technology and reviewing the results with an expert eye, therefore allowing companies to save time and support their compliance goals.

"QualysGuard's features and Qualys' commitment to customer security and global reach align nicely with Dell SecureWorks' strategy to offer comprehensive security services with flexible pricing for organisations of all sizes," commented Dan DeRosa, director of product management at Dell SecureWorks.

Earlier this month, Dell launched its first ever Storage Forum, a week-long event that included keynote speakers, networking opportunities and advice on best practice for storage solutions.

Social media was also integrated into the event, as people could follow goings-on using Twitter, Facebook and the Dell Tech Center.
