Domino Printing Sciences posts positive results June 23, 2011 11:58 by Chris Rails

Demand for products from Domino Printing Sciences has remained strong over recent months, as the company posts positive results for the six months ending April 30th.

Revenue at the firm grew by £156.4 million during the period, fuelled by demand for its new Continuous Inkjet and Laser printers and their associated ink cartridges.

Meanwhile, profits stood at £27.1 million in the six-month time frame, up 13 per cent on the same period of last year.

Chairman Peter Byrom commented: "Volumes of our newer technology products, thermal transfer and thermal inkjet, were both significantly ahead of last year.

"Demand for our fluids, consumables and other after-market products remains strong."

Domino recently had a stand at the Interpak event in Dusseldorf where it was showcasing the latest generation of coding and marking technologies for primary, secondary and tertiary purposes.

It has also made a virtual replica of the stand available on its website for those who were unable to attend the event.
