Avere Systems enlists Kodak's help with storage solutions June 23, 2011 11:58 by Chris Rails

An agreement has been reached between Kodak Service and Support and Avere Systems, which will see the former providing hardware replacements.

Kodak's service offers four-hour response times on a 24/7 basis when new hardware is needed, allowing companies to keep their operations up and running.

"The variety of business scenarios that puts pressure on our customers' storage systems requires a service delivery mechanism that is highly efficient and agile," commented Jeff Butler, director of customer operations at Avere.

He noted that the "worldwide network of service professionals" provided by Kodak would enable the firm to continue running its customers' critical processes as efficiently as possible.

Earlier this month, Kodak revealed that its ink cartridges had helped a number of companies win big at this year's In-Print Awards.

Its customers scooped 22 out of the 75 awards on offer, including 12 Gold Award winners.
