Polaroid announces first Lady Gaga printer May 30, 2011 10:18 by Chris Rails

Pop sensation Lady Gaga has lent her name to a new series of Polaroid printers, with the first hitting stores in the US today (May 26th).

The GL10 Instant Mobile Printer is the initial product to be released from the Polaroid Grey Label line, which is said to be both easy-to-use and fully portable.

"Every day, digital photos capture, memorialise and shape our lives – but they are not given the chance to inspire us because they die on cell phones or digital cameras," commented Lady Gaga, who has been appointed as Polaroid's creative director.

She emphasised that the GL10 Instant Mobile Printer was created so people could instantly enjoy the photos they take using their mobile phones using a device that can sit in the palm of their hand.

It has the ability to create 3x4-inch photos in less than one minute and weighs just 15 ounces.
