Epson printers, which can be used with Epson printer ink, give a great combination of "brilliant colour" and superior quality images, it has been claimed.

According to product manager for Epson America Reed Hecht, the Epson Stylus Pro 7700 and 9700 options offer fast and reliable performance and results that are "superior to most other printers being used by corporate graphics and signage professionals today".

Mr Hecht said that as well as offering incredible performance and prints, the printers benefit from being simple to use.

The Epson printer ink used in both machines allows for greater image standards, he noted, and the print heads in both models provide precise lines and text on printouts.

Both the Epson Stylus Pro 7700 and 9700 were released in October 2009, aimed at the professional photographer or talented amateur market.

They feature a five-colour Epson ink cartridge set incorporating cyan, yellow, magenta and two types of black - photo and matte.
