The demand for Epson printer ink could be set to grow considerably after it was announced the company has picked up three awards from the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA).

According to the firm, the Epson Stylus Photo R3000 was named the best expert photo printer, the Epson Perfection V330 Photo won best photo scanner and the Epson Stylus Pro 4900 was found to be the best large format printer.

The Stylus Pro 4900 makes use of 11-colour UltraChrome HDR Epson printer cartridges in tandem with an Advanced-TFP print head.

Commenting on the news, Kristin Saus-Opuszynski, senior business manager at ProPhoto for Epson Europe, said: "At Epson we continually look for new solutions and ways to enhance our product range, in order to meet the changing needs of our customers."
