Canon's Pixma MG8150 has received a prestigious accolade for its impressive photo printing capabilities.
The device was named best multifunction photo printer at the 2011 Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) Awards, which saw Canon pick up a prizes in four categories.
Designed with photographers in mind, the Pixma MG8150 features the Intelligent Touch System and offers direct Flickr access using the Canon Easy-PhotoPrint EX software.
"We're very proud to have received four awards from TIPA," said Steve Marshall, consumer imaging product marketing director at Canon Europe.
"These awards clearly demonstrate the quality present across Canon's entire range, from multifunctional printing and consumer cameras to professional imaging," he added.
Owners of Canon ink cartridges can use the Pixma MG8150 to create permanent records from their digital camera with the Full HD Movie Print software.
The all-in-one device also comes with six single inks, so users only have to replace the ink cartridges that have run out.
